How we work
Short videos still have to be right. These are the rules every Iovii Flash News video follows.
Sources
- We build stories from the reporting of established news outlets and official sources.
- Every video and caption names its sources, and the date the news broke is shown on screen.
- Stories about war and politics need at least two independent outlets, or a review by our team, before they go out.
- Claims are attributed to whoever made them ("the ministry says…"). We do not present rumours or social media reactions as facts.
Writing
- An AI model drafts each script from the sources, using only facts they report.
- Scripts are written in our own words. We never copy sentences from other outlets.
- We stay neutral: no opinions, predictions or speculation.
- Sensitive stories, such as unconfirmed claims, casualty figures, allegations against named people, health claims or anything that sounds like financial advice, always get a human review.
Pictures, graphics and sound
- We never reuse photos or video from news articles unless they carry an open licence.
- Images come from licensed stock libraries and openly licensed archives, with the licence recorded for each one.
- Charts, maps and figures are drawn from the facts of the story, not generated by AI.
- When no suitable photo exists, we may use an AI-generated illustration. It never contains text or numbers and never shows a real, identifiable person.
- Fonts, sound effects and music are our own or openly licensed.
AI and labels
AI helps us draft scripts, and our narration voices are AI-generated. We disclose this here and set the AI or synthetic-content label on every platform that offers one. Our team reviews videos before they are published.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Tell us in the comments or email iovii@outlook.com. Depending on the error, we correct the description, publish a correction or remove the video.
