Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Iovii Flash News ("we", "us") collects, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website (flashnews.iovii.com), to our videos and channels on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and to Iovii Flash News Publisher, our in-house tool for publishing our own videos.
1. Who we are
Iovii Flash News is a short-form news channel. We are responsible for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at iovii@outlook.com for any privacy question, request or complaint.
2. Visitors to this website
- This website has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and no forms.
- All fonts and images are served from this site; your browser does not contact any third party when you visit.
- Like any website, the company that hosts it may record standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use these logs to identify you.
- If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to handle your request.
3. Viewers of our videos
When you watch our videos on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. We never receive your private account information. Through the platforms' official tools we see:
- Aggregated statistics about our videos, such as views, likes, shares and watch time;
- Public comments on our own videos, with the commenter's public display name and the time.
We use this only to measure how our videos perform, to understand how viewers react (we may use an AI service to classify whether comments are positive or negative overall) and to find corrections we should make. We do not build profiles of individual viewers, we do not contact commenters outside the platform, and we never sell this information. Comments and statistics we store are refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
4. Iovii Flash News Publisher and Google user data
Iovii Flash News Publisher is an internal tool used only by the Iovii Flash News team. It connects, through Google sign-in, to our own YouTube channel only. It is not offered to the public, and no other person's Google account is connected to it. Iovii Flash News Publisher uses YouTube API Services.
4.1 What the tool can access, and why
| Google permission (scope) | What we use it for |
|---|---|
youtube.upload |
Upload our own videos to our channel. |
youtube.force-ssl |
Set the title, description, tags and the altered or synthetic content disclosure of our videos; update, make private or delete our own videos; read the comments on our own videos. |
yt-analytics.readonly |
Read our own channel's statistics and analytics reports. |
4.2 What we store, and for how long
- Sign-in tokens issued by Google, encrypted on our server (AES-256). They are kept only while the channel is connected and are deleted as soon as it is disconnected or access is revoked.
- Our channel's ID and name, and the IDs, links and status of the videos the tool uploaded.
- Statistics and analytics for our own videos, and the public comments on them.
Data obtained through YouTube API Services is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as the YouTube API Services Developer Policies require, and all of it is deleted within 30 days after our channel is disconnected or access is revoked. We do not keep it indefinitely.
4.3 How we use it, and what we never do
- We use this data only to publish and manage our own videos and to understand how they perform.
- We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as described in section 5.
- We do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
- No person reads it except our team, to operate the tool, for security, or as required by law.
4.4 Google API Services User Data Policy
Iovii Flash News Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4.5 YouTube and Google
Because the tool uses YouTube API Services, its use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
4.6 Revoking access
The account owner can revoke the tool's access to their Google account at any time from the Google security settings page ("Third-party apps & services"). After that, the tool can no longer access the account, and the stored data is deleted as described in section 4.2. See also our data deletion instructions.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run our service. They process data only on our behalf:
- Hosting and storage providers that run our servers, database and video storage.
- An AI model provider (Anthropic) that drafts scripts from public news reporting and, where enabled, classifies the overall tone of public comments. It processes this text only to return a result, under terms that do not allow it to train its models on our data.
- Stock image and image-generation services (such as Pixabay and Cloudflare Workers AI), which receive only search words and image descriptions, never personal data.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can delete your own comments on the platforms at any time; we then remove them within 30 days.
- Email iovii@outlook.com. We reply and complete deletion requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
7. Security
We protect stored data with encryption (Google sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest), access control and a single administrator account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix any problem quickly.
8. Children
Our website and tool are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
